The story unfolds in the ruins of a once-glorious Victorian city, now overrun by hordes of rats that have breached its defenses and infested the streets. A sense of devastation and tension pervades the atmosphere; imposing steampunk-style buildings rise above the ruins, each presenting unique dangers and tactical opportunities.
