Scott Pilgrim EX NSP is an Arcade action game Developed by Tribute Games and is unique for its playable characters. Aside from Scott and Ramona, there are also classic enemies such as Robot-01 as well as other familiar enemies like Roxy, Matthew, Lucas and Gideon. Scott is versatile, Ramona is very powerful in melee with a massive charisma, Lucas is resilient and effective, Gideon is constantly pressing and in melee is not to be underestimated, Matthew is agile (uncommon for a fighting game!) and Robot is a big boat in ranged combat and Roxy is a true ninja.
You’ll find yourself right at home if you have played fighting games in the past. The game’s strength is in the multiple styles of play. There is a combination of light and heavy attacks for each character. Light attacks will work best for chaining combos, heavy attacks will work best for destabilizing Vegans, Robots, and Demons. Aside from that, both characters have many unique, strategic and unpredictable powers, Gideon’s spinning sword, Ramona’s space fist, and the robotic bombs are just some of them, distinctly different from other games.
Scott Pilgrim EX NSP of the few fighting games on gamecocks that allows you to block an attack, Scott Pilgrim EX provides advanced dodging skills such as “quick dodge”, different grabs and the use of a well-performed super attack to avoid attacks without using Courage. Support attacks can also be used to gain Health and/or set free Ramona’s cat Gideon who flies across the screen causing chaos (these attacks also use up Courage).
