Savor a thrilling fighting game with Pokken Tournament DX Switch NSP XCI, blending your beloved Pokémon gameplay with intense combat. It’s a new take on the classic Pokémon battle system, breaking out of the turn-based experience.
The game innovatively combines two game phases, the Field Phase and Duel Phase. This dynamic movement makes battles interesting, requiring quick thinking and adaptability from all players. To win, you need to learn both of the things.
Each Pokémon has a distinctive style of battle, ranging from powerful onslaughts to movement that can be swift, making the game plenty varied in the arena of competition. The smooth controls will make for incredibly rewarding complex moves.
- Play Field Phase battles, where the Pokémon can move around freely in a 3D field, attacking in multiple directions and finding openings.
- Switch to the more traditional Duel Phase fighting format, where the emphasis is on combos, grabs and counterattacks.
- Make use of the ability of Synergy Burst which is a temporary ability that grants you stats and you’ll gain the ability to perform a devastating Burst Attack which will turn the tide of battle.
- Play with a well-rounded array of more than 20 different Pokémon, such as Pikachu, Charizard and Decidueye, with different movesets.
- Use Support Pokémon such as Espeon/Umbreon or Croagunk/Sylveon to support, heal or offensive in battle.
- Play through different battle styles, such as the single player Ferrum League, local and online multiplayer and team battles for endless replayability.
