Persona 5 Royal Switch NSP XCI is a combination of turn-based combat and an engaging social simulation. You spend the day in school, as well as working part-time and interacting with different characters, called Confidants. Every encounter fells bond and confers beneficial benefits.
There are nights and certain days when exploring Palaces and Mementos, the procedurally generated dungeon. Combat incorporates style and strategy, with the ability to use the weaknesses of your opponents, “Hold Ups” and “All-Out Attacks.”
The Royal edition adds a lot of improvements to gameplay. Grappling Hook mechanics will also open up new ways to traverse Palaces, adding some dynamism to the exploration. Battles are even more challenging with the addition of new enemies and strong “Disaster Shadows” to the game.
- Follow the path of dynamically designed Palaces, each a corrupted person’s warped mind with puzzles and enemies.
- Connect in head-to-head battle, with exclusive Personas and taking advantage of enemy weaknesses to gain an edge.
- Learn to balance regular life activities such as school, working part-time and developing “Confidant” relationships to unleash powerful abilities.
- Take part in various side quests and train in the huge procedurally-generated dungeon, Navigate Mementos.
