Players take turns rolling dice and moving to board spaces to get coins and stars up to 4 players. Finally, a series of minigames rounds that can get players additional coins.
Character Dice Blocks:
Along with the 1-6 block, each character has a different dice block. Some even offer a chance at higher numbers but run the risk of landing on zero, whereas others offer a guaranteed reward for coins or numbers, introducing an additional level of strategy.
Ally System:
You can recruit allies as you travel. Allies add 1 – 2 additional dice spaces to your dice roll and sometimes will show up during certain team minigames to assist.
Over 80 Minigames:
The game features a massive roster of minigames, along with motion controls, rumble and button mashing using the Nintendo Switch Joy-Controllers.
Online Multiplayer:
