Luigi’s Mansion 3 Gameplay:
Luigi’s Mansion 3 is an excellent mix of action, exploration and ingenious puzzle solving. You’ll be spending your time carefully navigating the various floors of the hotel, each with a different theme, and a different set of ghoulish tenants.
The most important tool that you will have is Luigi’s trusty Poltergust G-00, which can be used to vacuum up ghosts, move objects and reveal secrets. Mastering its various functions is key to progressing through the game and dealing with spectral threats effectively.
One of the most interesting things that is added into the game is Gooigi, Luigi’s gooey doppelgänger. Gooigi can fit into grates, walk over spikes and can even help solve puzzles that need 2 characters. Very useful for maneuvering in difficult situations and fighting.
- Ghost Vacuuming: Use an electric light to stun a ghost and use the Poltergust G-00 to suck it up!
- Slam Attack: If a ghost is stunned by Slam, slam him around to gain additional damage and to remove groups.
- Suction Shot: Fire a plunger towards objects or ghost shields to pull objects back or create new paths.
- Burst Move: Jump in the air to fend off nearby ghosts, uncover invisible items or engage with environmental puzzles.
- Gooigi Mechanics: Switch between Luigi and Gooigi to access parts of the map otherwise inaccessible and to solve puzzles with 2 characters.
- Exploration and Puzzles: Look for hidden objects, coins and clues in the environment to solve the complex puzzles.

Poltergust G-00 Upgrades:
The iconic vacuum gives new powers, such as Slam (where you can smash ghosts in the ground and into other ghosts), and Suction Shot (which sucks up heavy items and melts down defenses).
Burst & Dark-Light:
Burst: Blasts an upwards air bubble to get around attacks or jump over hazards; and Dark-Light Device: Explores hidden objects and hidden Boos.

Themed Floors:
The game takes place in a huge 17-floor high hotel, rather than a single mansion. There is a very special theme for each floor, for example a pirate ship, a dance club and an ancient tomb.
