Storyline Donkey Kong Country Returns HD NSP:
This story starts on a peaceful evening in Donkey Kong Island. Then the hip-hop and jamming Tiki Tak Tribe pops up and puts the island’s animals under its hypnotic spell, while also plundering Donkey Kong’s coveted banana stash. Chaos erupts, leaving DK and Diddy Kong with a big problem.
Our heroes will have to undertake a grand journey through different worlds and landscapes to found the bananas back. They encounter bosses and rhythmic enemies with the help of the music playing in the game Tiki Pongs. They are in a race against time to save their much loved fruit!
Along the way, Donkey Kong and Diddy meet with different members of the Tiki Tak Tribe, each with different powers. They will have to face these musically inclined villains to break the hypnotism and bring peace to the island.

Dixie Kong Companion:
Dixie Kong is a new playable companion added in a free update who has her own distinct movement, including the Helicopter Spin for height/greater range and the ability to increase Donkey Kong’s jump while he is doing his jump.
Turbo Attack Mode:
A fast-paced mode in which specialized versions of stages are played with time limits.
Modern mode vs. Original mode:
Play the classic challenging way or try “Modern Mode”, which gives you 3 hearts, instead of 2, and provides access to helpful support items from Cranky Kong’s shop.
Button-Only Controls:
Eliminates the need to press buttons to wander, dropping ground pounds, etc. (Wii’s divisive waggle mechanics), and substitutes with straightforward button presses (such as rolling and dropping ground pounds simultaneously with the Y button instead of rolling and pressing the button at the same time). These changes are optional, and the original motion control mechanics are still available.
